holiday mood

i got to meet up with MH and the lil posties yest!

started the day with nia and MH with brunch in e park.
great music and company to boot.
to my high flying friend, also in the literal sense.
yes.
perhaps someday after the world loses its charm will we come back where we came from.
till then, nothin holds limits.
and someday we'll be sittin in some place exchanging stories about our lil adventures. =)

went to meet baby bee after. =))
shoe shopping!
we finally settled on a pair of shoes each.
Nike for bjorni and asics for mi.
we converted eachother.
wanted to get the green asics but it was low normal arch.
its so me... =((
but i figured better my feet's skeleton than its dressing so settled for the not-so-pretty but comfier red and silver nimbus.
but nothin beats my yellow nike)

which prob will be hung up real soon.
min of silence for the old soul that's served mi well.
*solemn*

anyway, here's the new addition to the family!

nia says its ugly but bleagh.
i'd be gloating when trainin starts and comfort matters.
training seems a LIiiiTTLE daunting after not runnin since standard chartered.
we'll be ok.

talking bout getting new shoes mummi got leather shoes for all 3 of us last nite.
she says its nostalgic cos we used to wear them when we were lil.
with lacy socks and matchin frocks and hairbands.
lol.
oh mummi.

dinner with the posties was great.
as usual we end up at the same place.
elsa got all of us popcorn from the mountains!
the girl carried the bulky pots in her bag.

Kayaking

kayaking was great.
liz and bjorni n nia n i completed our one star today.
we had bruised shoulders from carrying the kayaks yest and today but it was all worth it.
i'm not gg to be moving much for the next few days.
aunt and uncle came over for din and dessert today.

the ultra-marathoners were at macritche this morning.
oh man.

watched nanking last night.
cant say very much of it tho.
felt a lil like the flim analysises i've been doing for my geisha module.
i tink its biased.
dinner at modesto's b4 tat with two of my favourite persons. =))

i'm getting bored of facebook.

Cambodia trip

cambodia was a real eye opener.
i must say that i wasnt realli prepared for it at all.
firstly, the town area was much too modern than wat i had expected.
ok mountain tortise yea i noe. =p
but ya.
hanging ard there seemed like being in holland village.
the kids are BRILLIANT.
and i mean it.
alot of them are super smart and its just amazing how streetsmart they all are.
its crazy when u try to compare.
and u realise the tinks u take for granted.
like education.
xmas was special cos the kids fr e orphanage came to the guesthouse.
met loads of nice peep during this trip.
=)))

lunch and dessert at demsey's with liz, bjorny and his mummi today.
i LOVE the ben and jerry's truck!

Cyberia Camp

Cyberia camp was quite fun.
we got to stay in raffles hall.
prob one of few chances to stay in the hostel.
i got my own room!

until nia decided to crash in.
the sheets gave mi rashes tho.
still it was quite fun. =))

had steamboat lunch with aunt b4 gg down to meet baby to see xmas lightup.
town is crazy.
everyone's rushing last min shopping.
turkish food for din.
prezzies fr bambi and liz!!

ok leaving for airport in 4 hrs.
time to pack up.

sat was a fruitful day.
headed down to pasir ris to listen to this reali inspiring talk at cheryl's church.
there are times when u just need to stop and think about where u're heading.
guess its also alot about appropriate timings.
lazy dinner at east coast after. =)

and so bjorny, nis and i dragged ourselves to the padang yest.
crazy how traffic ard there can be at 5am in the morning.
half marathon.
legs are aching now but i'm proud of us!

saw daphne and vanessa and a couple of lifeguards there.

oh and u shud hav seen the marathoners go!
